Brownie Batter Dip – the most decadent and delicious dessert dip ever! It’s like eating brownie batter without the raw eggs.
If you’ve ever been here, you know that brownies are pretty much my all-time favorite dessert. I think we have about 50 brownie recipes on the blog now, so I’ve covered all the bases. And this Brownie Batter Dip tastes like you’re eating brownie batter, but without the eggs or the worry of getting sick!
If you have never made dessert dip before, this one will change your life and you will start making all dessert dips in the future! Then start with the cookie dough dip!

Why you will love this recipe
- No cooking is required, so you can have it ready from start to finish in about 10 minutes! Almost instant gratification when it comes to dessert.
- You can really dip whatever you want. From healthy fruits to crackers to cookies. You name it, it all works.
- No raw egg involved. You don’t have to worry about getting sick from eggs, it’s an egg-free dip you can enjoy anytime.

What you will need
- Cream cheese
- Butter
- Granulated sugar
- Cocoa powder
- Flour
- brown sugar
- Milk
- Vanilla extract
- Mini chocolate chips
I’ve seen a lot of brownie dip recipes that use real brownie batter. You can definitely go this route and even try it with my homemade brownie mix. But I wanted to do something more homemade and be able to control certain ingredients a little more.

How to make brownie batter dip
Be sure to scroll down to the recipe card for full measurements and instructions!
- You can use a hand mixer, electric stand mixer, or just a spatula to make this recipe. Start by creaming together the cream cheese, butter, and brown sugar until nice and smooth.
- Add the rest of the ingredients (minus the chocolate chips) and mix until well blended and smooth.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with chocolate chips.
Pro tip
You will want heat treat your flour before adding it to the mix. If you look on the bag of flour, there will be a warning not to eat raw flour. So I like to heat the flour in the microwave for 1 minute, stirring every 15 seconds.

You can really take your dip up a notch, but by stirring in some of your favorite candies. I like to put the chocolate chips on top, but try stirring them. Or use M&M’s, Reese’s Chunks, chopped peanuts or other nuts, peanut butter nuggets or any other flavored nuggets.
Cover it with plastic wrap or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will last a few days.
I wouldn’t recommend freezing it. The cream cheese will start to separate and release too much moisture as it thaws, this would definitely change the texture of the dip.

What to serve with brownie batter dip
This is where you can get super creative! Sweet and salty, just sweet… the choice is yours!
- Animal cookies
- graham crackers
- pretzels
- Apple slices
- Berries
- Nilla Wafers
- Oreo cookies
