There’s always a lot going on in the world of Columbus restaurants! Here is the latest:

  • High Bank Distillery announced this week that it will be adding a third location, this one at 28 S. State St. in Westerville. This new location will take over the historic Westerville Post Office and include a speakeasy.
  • This week, North Market Downtown announced that COLO Market & Oyster Bar (recently renamed Coastal Local Seafood), will expand its downtown business with butchers, poultry and deli meats. Changes will include moving seafood offerings to the aisle and adding a retail oyster bar.
  • After closing due to a fire last year, Legacy Smokehouse in Hilliard will finally reopen next week on Friday, May 26. The updated space includes a new upstairs bourbon bar, Rickhouse 41.
  • The owners of the Two Fatt Indians food truck have opened a new take-out location called Two Fat Indian Fusion at 177 S. Cypress Ave. in Franklinton. It offers a variety of Indian-inspired pizzas.
  • Fast casual Agape Mediterranean has teased that it will be adding a third location this fall, in Dublin. This joins the stores in Westerville and Gahanna.
  • The Cup O’ Joe in Clintonville is temporarily closed until May 28 to complete renovations to the space.
  • A new bar/restaurant called Twin Peaks recently opened at 1611 Polaris Pkwy. The sports bar is a chain known for its waiters and their attire. (Honest question these days: how do places like this still thrive?)
  • Cobra, a soon-to-be-installed bar and restaurant in the former Espace Clarmont in the brewery district, will host a barbecue with cocktails and food this Sunday, May 21 at Seventh Son Brewing from 5-10 p.m., featuring grills, drinks and a DJ .
  • Columbus Underground is hosting a Pickle Party at Hills Downtown on June 16 from 6-8 p.m.
