In case you missed the recent news, the owners of Kittie’s Cakes in German Village and Bexley have purchased Highline Coffee in Old Worthington!

Expect a few changes and updates in the future, but for now Kittie’s Highline, as it’s called, continues to be the historic district’s cozy corner space. The back room is still occupied by Shift Studios, and part of the wall space is still dedicated to the Highline Art Space featuring local artists.

The biggest change is a new range of pastries from Kittie, featured prominently on the counter.

This includes everything from cupcakes and scones to cinnamon rolls, garlic rolls and cookies containing jam.

You’ll often spy new owners Steve and Diane Herman behind the counter.

For now, Kittie’s continues to serve One Line Coffee, which Highline proudly introduced, although Kittie’s uses Portland-based Stumptown coffee roasters.

We loved Highline and are thrilled to have Kittie’s in the neighborhood, and are curious to see how they expand on its success.
