How to make spring dessert cups for Easter:

Arrange all of your dessert cups on a baking sheet.


Preparing the layers: For each layer, you will use: 1 packet of gelatin of 3 oz, ¾ cup of boiling water, ⅓ cup of yogurt and ¼ cup of milk.

Using 5 medium bowls (one for each color) – Pour a packet of gelatin into each bowl. Add ¾ cup boiling water to each bowl and whisk well for about 1 minute to make sure all the granules are dissolved.

Allow bowls of gelatin to stand and cool to room temperature before adding milk and yogurt. Once gelatin is at room temperature, add ¼ cup milk and ½ cup yogurt to each bowl.

Start with your first color and add about 2 tablespoons to each cup.

Refrigerate for 15-30 minutes to allow the layer to set.


Repeat with the remaining layers. Once all layers are done, refrigerate for at least 4 hours to ensure all layers are completely set.


Top with whipped cream and sprinkle as desired.
These can be kept for several days covered with plastic wrap so that they can be prepared in advance.
