Weenie Wonder brings hot dogs, toddlers, jojos and shakes to Easton

The colorful, hot dog-centric Weenie Wonder opened a second location last week, this one in Easton, attached to what is now Pins Mechanical Co. The first Weenie Wonder, a concept by Rise Brands, opened the last year at Dublin’s Bridge Park.

Weenie Wonder offers a modern take on a hot dog joint, serving up an easy-to-love menu of classic and creative hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, tater tots, jojos (potato wedges, for those who didn’t grow up in an area where the term is popular), coleslaw, milkshakes and cookies.

Guests line up along the grill to order their hot dogs and sides.

You can make your own or choose from versions such as Bloody Mary, New York Reuben, Nacho Supreme, Classic Coney, Chi-town or Frito Pie.

Hot dogs are quickly assembled right in front of you as you move through the line.

I mean, what’s not to like about these? I enjoy hot dogs with casings that are browned on the dish.

They do the classics justice like a good ol’ Chicago dog.

Weenie Wonder opens very smartly in the massive Pins Mechanical Co./16-Bit Bar + Arcade complex in Easton. It extends over two levels with several spaces.

Guests are welcome to stroll between the different areas, so you can reserve a lane at Pins, order drinks at the bar, grab hot dogs from Weenie Wonder, play 16-bit games.

There are several bars scattered throughout the space, with additional activities like ping-pong tables and pétanque courts.

Several rooms have arcade games and 16-bit pinball machines.

And there are fun features scattered throughout, like a giant Lite-Brite where we made Mario!

And for those who want some fresh air, the resort has a second-floor covered patio with fire pits and games.

Weenie Wonder in Easton is currently open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
